Ryde Portraits – Isle of Wight Photographer
Say “hello” to a new member of the ‘Amanda Herbert Photography’ crew – Sarah here is joining our team to support our social media presence.
As this is the first time Sarah has enjoyed a professional portrait session on the Isle of Wight, I thought I’d update an older blog post and one my most asked questions during mentorship programmes: How I generate true smiles and authentic expressions.

Natural expressions in your portraits
Deep down, you know you’re fabulous, even if it’s hard to feel it on a Monday morning. Isle of Wight portrait sessions are an opportunity to embrace the moment and feel the session is dedicated just to you. You deserve to have your own personal photographer who makes your personality come alive on camera.
I want you to totally enjoy the portrait session, even if you believe you ‘don’t normally take good photographs’. In each session, I strive to make you relax, have fun, and only use locations that feel *you*.
I believe in capturing photographs that make you feel great and celebrate you, being simply fabulous.
The secret to natural smiles?
#1 Trust – I work hard to make you feel comfortable
#2 Joy – throughout the session we’ll enjoy a natter, share common interests and pause to enjoy a coffee
#3 Time – your session is never rushed, there’ll be plenty of time to capture the real you
# 4 Secrets – I’ll ask about your day, dreams and what you think of ’50 shades of grey’
#5 Honesty – If you like an outfit, location or certain style we’ll work hard to capture your essence so your photographs *glow* with laughter.
I’m working exclusively on corporate headshots for the remainder of the summer, but don’t let that stop you from getting in touch. I love answering your questions.
With love, Mandy
