Portsmouth Portrait Photographer
I wait. Early. Eager
Smiling broadly, Lisa greets me. Warmth in her gaze like meeting a new friend.
Striding confidently through Old Portsmouth, the click of heels punctuating our opening exchanges.
A small, pastel blue canvas bag hints at Aly’s carefree elegance. The keynote for today – natural portraits, fuss-free styles, and genuine smiles. Settling on worn steps, laughing breathlessly at the taunting sea wind. It feels so easy.
I wait as Lisa spies the covered archways.
A *pouf* of excitement.
Our playground awaits, the camera forgotten. Walking through archways, twirling for the lone dog walker.
Lisa challenges me to me create photos that are filled with laughter and joy. Something *more* than her previous studio portraits. We play silly games. I describe my childhood friend who wore swimming caps whilst horse riding. Lisa reveals her perfect night on Valentine’s day.
Showing Lisa how to feel good in front of the camera. Making it seem so effortless. We share our passions for biscuits for breakfast and lazy days at home.
A final walk to the glowering sea wall. The cacophony of waves urging us homeward.
My lasting memory. Lisa twirling gracefully, with a song in her heart.
