Portrait Photographer on the Isle of Wight
Earlier this month I took a long, dreamy walk along Priory Bay with my friends Poppy and Adam.
We talked about the car crash on the Downs, nearly missing each other and, of course, the rain!
We laughed (nervously) about the lightning storm over the seas. Our knees got sandy. We paused occasionally to look at the thundery clouds rumbling menacingly. We also worked quickly. That was a good call.
Feeling energised and excited.
Our conversation was, “let’s use the black dress shirt along the steps, the cream dress with the feather cape and the white boho dress on the sands”.
We knew exactly what we wanted. After all, we’d been sharing ideas for over a month.
This portrait photography session was truly important to Poppy. She has a plan and knows exactly how to achieve her goals. And she succeeded. Just two weeks after this session Poppy was invited to be an ambassador for a clothing firm. Go girl!
I’m proud of these photos and of Poppy. The moral of this blog? If something is worth going for, don’t just wait for it to happen. Put it out there, reach out for help and get in touch.
“The photos are all so amazing you’ve made me look incredible. Thank you so much! Amazing work from my collaberation with Amanda Herbert on the photography and Mia Louise Attrill for my make up. Had so much fun doing these in the thunder and lightning ????“
