Northwood House – Isle of Wight Attraction for Photography
It all happened so quickly.
Noticing Charlotte’s recent update on Facebook, I asked her to join me for a fast and furious Cowes photo session.
With the East Cowes chain ferry out of action, I was stumped for a while … where would we meet?
Google maps came to the rescue. Unaware of the sprawling Northwood Park, a hidden gem in the heart of Cowes. It was decided. The perfect portrait location and a new attraction for me to discover.
Charlotte’s an uplifting mix of cheerful optimism and blossoming loveliness.
A gorgeous blend that engages you instantly. Like an untold story, her calm assurance and elegant poise belies her age. Making the mistake of playing, ‘guess my age’ I was stunned – Charlotte wears her confidence with a maturity and ease that’s inspiring.
Waving a greeting as Charlotte steps off the Southampton ferry. Giggling with anticipation, we hail each other for the first time, ready to explore the cobbled lanes of Cowes. Sun gracing us with an appearance – the Isle of Wight weather lending a helping hand (at last).
Charlotte’s eager. Excited to launch a modelling career with a fresh-face outlook and a natural ability to draw on her artistic talents.
Because her story is about being in the moment, being true to yourself and being genuine. Which is why I reached out to her, out of the blue. Excited, “wanna meet up?”
Even the most independent women need a supportive hand. A friend to tease out expression and inject personality in their pictures. Easing those first-time jitters into relaxed photos that sparkle with laughter and smiles.
Charlotte’s images shine. The success behind these images is simple. Just getting out there and having a go. It’s not about modelling at all. Feeling dubious? Try it. Forget about the camera. Twirl. Swish your hair. Jump off a log. Glance to the camera. See the difference in your face – you can shine too.
The best thing of all. I found a new friend to play with. Discovered a new location to explore. Created a new mood board for my next phot shoot. If you’d like to join me, get in touch with this CONTACT FORM.
Thank you to Charlotte for sharing your humour and positivity. I’m certain you’ll succeed in your studies, your art and your modelling. Because you understand the importance of ‘having a go, making it work and empowering others with kindness and grace. Making this opportunity your own and diving into this session with just one day’s preparation!
