Isle of Wight portrait photographer
“I’m a contortionist. Do you want me to show you now?”
Nessy stands tall, takes a deep breath, and there it is.
Nessy’s signature style. Stunning.
Nessy moves through her graceful routine, a lithe wiggle of the shoulders and a dramatic arch of her back, like an Egyptian temple cat: quiet, assured, and compelling.
Nessy’s completely unaware of the passion in her performance.
And that’s a beautiful thing.
Confidence is Nessy’s most beautiful attribute. Her strength comes from within and performing Nessy comes into her own.
By day she’s a performer, dancer, and hard-working student.
But really she’s:
- a warm-hearted friend
- a passionate creative
- an optimist
Without knowing it, Nessy’s talent is connecting with people. Taking everyday moments and turning them into fun-filled conversations.
How do I know?
I asked Nessy to meet with me quite by chance via Facebook. She’s seen my work with Elinor Rose (see her Isle of Wight portrait session here).
Nessy’s reply? “We’re friends just waiting to meet each other.”
These photographs matter because Nessy commences her studies in Portugal come September. They’ll be a reminder that Nessy is naturally elegant, enjoying her last summer on the Isle of Wight.
I know Nessy’ll embrace the next chapter of her life, diving into thrilling experiences and laughing till her sides ache. Each day will be a new adventure and she’ll find herself surrounded by her favourite people.
I hope you find these tips helpful and that your next natural portrait session on the island is a hoot. I’d love to know which tip you think is the most helpful, your thoughts on the blog, and all things photographic! I’ll be posting more ideas next week, see you again. Mandy
