“It was great working with Mandy and I’m really happy with the results! She’s very professional; gives great direction but also explores new ideas. Besides, she’s a really fun and lovely person to work with! The photos are coming out great and, all in all, I would love to work with her again. Do book a day with her if you can – I can’t recommend her highly enough. Thanks Mandy!” Isle of Wight

It’s the first thing in the morning and the lovely Johanna is arriving for her lifestyle session after a friend suggested they do a joint photo shoot. Naturally, everyone is excited and feeling just a little nervous about the photo shoot. The first step is to grab a coffee and get to know each other. The process starts with a simple headshot to help Johanna feel relaxed and feel comfortable. The first images are shared immediately – seeing how well the images turn out helps Johanna settle into her surroundings.
Moving to the living room studio, Ryde Johanna can see how beautiful the photos present themselves with a perfectly coordinated outfit. The neutral walls flatter luminous complexions, a statement necklace, and colourful lips give harmony to the pictures and emphasize the confident, reassuring presence needed for her coaching programmes.
Once we’ve shared the first photographs we move into simple yet flattering poses. Meeting people for the first time and creating flattering photographs of themselves is not the easiest thing to do. It takes a lot of experience to ease everyday people into their headshot session, encouraging natural smiles, showing them flattering ways to stand, and gently coaxing genuine smiles. And it’s where my passion lies.
Magic happens when you settle into the shoot and embrace the moment with confidence. This is an opportunity to get all those reflective moments, as any nervousness and anxiety has disappeared. The positioning is simple and natural so Johanna can relax – this is when my clients realize photoshoots are actually fun!
Corporate headshot sessions take 30 minutes and I work hard to make sure you really enjoy your time with a professional photographer. I use your excitement to generate confident smiles, even when you don’t quite know what to expect next. It’s not every day you have your photos taken for your new website.
