Hey there again, just sharing these photographs of Etti taken in my living room to let you know that my home studio is open again. I’m absolutely amazed at Etti’s confident gaze and serene countenance, she’s a wonderful model and creative working with a wide range of photographers on the Isle of Wight and further afield.

“Without a doubt, the best portraits in my Ryde home studio are the ones that look naturally elegant and beautifully lit.”
If you’re wondering about starting your own modeling career or anxious about meeting a photographer, starting with a short and personal portrait session is perfect for you. A quick session gives you an idea of what happens on a portrait session whilst giving you the support you need.
Photographers tend to be detail orientated, so setting up a quick shoot will be a jam-packed way of finding out if modelling is for you. Arranging an outdoor location, swopping notes about what to wear and asking for support will give you an valuable insight into how photographers work.
If you’re ready to be photographed and aren’t sure where to start, chat with your family and friends. They’ll tell you straight away if they like a photographer’s portraits or whether you should wait for someone else to catch your eye.
Working with Etti was super exciting and fun. She’s inspirational with her creative ideas, like the photograph below prompted because she had a PJ set delivered for free!

I dream of improving my photography with each and every session, eager to capture something that tells a story and shows my clients in a positive and confident way.
My favourite image of the set is below, created because I found a straw hat in a charity shop the day before our shoot. Working with Etti is just what any photographer needs to take their photographs to the next level and that just what happened here.
If you’d like to become part of my ‘straw hat series’, please do drop me a line and I promise to create portraits that take your portfolio to the next level.
