How to prepare for your studio headshot session
1 week – First, it’s important to think about what kind of image you want to project. Do you want to look approachable and friendly? Or serious and professional?
3 days – Once you know the kind of image you want to project, you can start thinking about what to wear. Send a screenshot of the outfits you’d like to wear to your photographer. They will be able to offer last minute guidance.
1 day – Pack your bag the night before with all of the essentials: water, snacks, makeup touch-ups, and extra hair ties.
On the day – It’s the day of your big headshot session and you’re feeling nerves. Take a deep breath and remember that you’ve got this. Now all you have to do is show up and be yourself. The camera will love you for it.
