Published Work for Style of Wight, Isle of Wight
Recently I had the pleasure of being asked by the lovely Becca Charlo from ‘Style of Wight’ to be the photographer for a little shoot she had in mind…inspired by ‘Summer Dreams’ scene. Becca gathered together some handpicked suppliers for her shoot, and together I think it created a rather gorgeous inspirational shoot. The back drop for it was a beach hut in a quiet little spot in Gurnard, Isle of Wight – rather lovely indeedy!
Gurnard beach, with its colourful beach huts overlooking the brisk sea and cosy cafe. The beach has mysterious rock pools and at low tide you can walk along the shore to nearby Cowes for a home made ice-cream. With this in mind, Becca rightly felt that the seafront with all this rich tradition of ‘kiss me quick’ family holidays would serve as the ideal backdrop for her shoot. The ‘Style of Wight’ also took further inspiration from well known, local business for their props, backgrounds and inspirations – epitomised by the front cover!
