Hoxton – London Portrait Photographer
On the morning I met Marlon, I received 3 texts.
Each one with a promise.
Which sums him up perfectly.
Courteous, gracious and considerate (mamma taught him right).
He looks like an energy fuelled MTV presenter, a gregarious footballer or commanding screen director (but really he’s genuinely funny, with a twinkle in his eye).
Don’t be fooled by Marlon’s cool demeanour – he’s passionate about nurturing young talent, a creative script writer and left me to attend his Pinewood audition!
During the session Marlon describes how he bridges the gap between young children needing to show their independence and using creative arts to challenge their boundless energies.
His practice embodies drama and dance performance so that young people can find effective ways to take control of their lives and enjoy expressing themselves.
He’s easy to talk to.
Marlon is straight talking with a passion in his voice, “come and see my new show” (you can follow him here @MarlonKameka).
Loyal to his friends with an energy that comes from living life outside of his comfort zone.
My favourite story?
A passing comment about his best friend. A lasting companion. A mentor, muse and comrade.
[zen_simple_box color=’white’]I’m a performer, and I am building up my photographic portfolio. I used Amanda for a photoshoot and enjoyed every minute! She was a pleasure to work with, making me feel comfortable, at ease and relaxed. She also choose brilliant locations which really complimented my look.
I received the photos within 48 hours and have had great feedback from people about the photos taken.
I had good fun, laughed a lot and ended up with some fantastic photos! I would highly recommend Amanda as a photographer to go to for beautiful, fresh and stunning photos.[/zen_simple_box]
