“Our fotoshoot with mandy was great fun and you feel like a professional model! From the minute you meet her you feel comfortable and you also learn how to pose so you look perfectly on your pictures. She chose such a great spot to take our photos and has a really good eye for everything which makes it totally worth working with her. Thank you for this great experience Mandy!”
I loved this session at the South Bank. Nadine asked for some photographs along the river Thames and I knew the spot by the National Theatre was perfect – we could combine a visit to the London Eye and enjoy the street artists as we captured happy portraits. Often we don’t have time to spend a whole day with our nearest and dearest. A portrait session can give you a chance to relax and enjoy time together without feeling pressured. Here are some ways to make sure you enjoy your time on the photo shoot.
Dress to Impress using your ‘welcome pack’ as a guide (ask for your free brochure) . Your photographer should share their advice upon booking. It goes without saying that your general turnout (hair, makeup, outfits) should represent your style and personality.
#2 Chat on the phone
The evening before the photo shoot, ask your photographer to call you. ‘Breaking the ice’ ahead of the session can save you stress on the day. This is the perfect time to ask any questions in detail (example FAQs).
#3 Times and dates
Ask you photographer to send you a text or SMS on the day to confirm the dates and times. You need confidence that the session will go ahead as planned.
#4 Enjoy your portrait experience
Communicate with your photographer. If you have any feedback on the images or the way you feel, let them know.
